Founder & Chief Instructor – Mark Lim
MAJ (Ret) Mark Lim had served 23 years in the Republic of Singapore Air Force as a helicopter pilot and Weapon System Officer (Fighters). He has more than 2,400 flying hours on numerous training aircrafts, helicopters and jet fighters to include the mighty F-15SG and F-16D+ Falcon under his belt. Mark held various appointments such as Head Training Officer and established a niche in the area of Aviation Safety while in the Air Force Inspectorate and Operational Squadrons.
As Founder & and Chief Instructor of Klaven APAC, Mark leverages on his vast experience and knowledge in aviation operations, training management, and organisational skills to steer the company to greater heights.

What are the operating hours of Klaven APAC?
Our operating hours are as follows:
Monday – Friday: 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Saturday – Sunday: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred slot.
Do you accept walk-in customers?
To ensure smooth operations, we kindly request all customers to make their bookings for the next day’s flight simulator sessions no later than 6pm.

How realistic are the flight simulators at Klaven APAC?
Our simulators are designed to provide an immersive and realistic experience. All our simulators are 1-to-1 in scale, feature realistic cockpit instrumentation, switches, dials and flight controls & realistic visuals and sound system to replicate the sensation of real-world flying.
I do not have any flying experience. Can I book your flight simulators?
You do not need any flying experience to enjoy our flight simulator sessions. Our instructors will be on-hand to design a flight experience session that is suitable for you.
Is there a dress code for the flight simulators?
Feel free to dress comfortably for your experience, ensuring ease of movement. We suggest avoiding excessively loose attire that could potentially interfere with the flight controls or simulator components.
How much does a flight simulation experience cost?
Pricing for our flight simulation experiences varies depending on the type of simulator and the duration of the session. Our flight simulator sessions start at a very affordable S$55 for a 30-minute experience.
How can I amend my booking?

Is there an age requirement to participate in a flight simulation experience?
While there is no minimum age limit, participants should ideally be 145cm in height to enjoy the full experience of our flight simulators. Participants shorter than 145cm can still enjoy our simulators with the aid of provided booster seats, or seated on their parent’s laps for young ones.
For small children, we recommend our Boeing 737 Commercial Airplane or our F18 Fighter Jet (non-MR) as they are more kids-friendly. Minors under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Are there any physical restrictions or health concerns for using the flight simulators?
Participants should be in generally good health and free from any medical conditions that may be aggravated by the sensory inputs of the simulator. Pregnant women and individuals with heart conditions, back or neck problems should consult with their healthcare provider before participating.
Is there a briefing or instruction provided as part of the flight simulation experience?
Yes, all participants will receive a pre-flight briefing from our experienced instructors to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. The briefing will cover basic flight controls, simulator features, and safety procedures. This is done within the duration booked.
Will I be able to ask questions or receive assistance during my flight simulation experience?
Absolutely! Our instructors will be available throughout your session to provide guidance, answer questions, and ensure your safety and enjoyment.
